Orient Cultural Center opens in Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan
The Orient Cultural Center was opened in Nazarbayev University in Kazakh capital Astana in a ceremony attended by a group of local and foreign dignitaries and cultural and scientific scholars including Iranian Cultural Attaché.

According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture, following the opening ceremony, the Japanese Chancellor of the Nazarbayev University, Mr. Shigo Katsu the former head of World Bank tanked all those who have contributed to establishment of this center specially the Japanese Embassy that has financed the project and said this center has been designed based on Japanese Stone Gardens. He said the center is an appropriate venue for holding cultural events as well as a garden for spending leisure time by the youth. At the end of the ceremony, participants visited a handicrafts exhibition which showcased hand works from Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, India and Kazakhstan.
