Iranian films highly visible in Indian cultural events
Iranian Films are being extensively screened at the Indian Kolhapur International Film Festival.
According to Public Relations Department of Farabi Cinema Organization, “A House at Forty First St.” made by Hamid Reza Qorbani, “ When I Returned” , made by Hamid Mosavin, “Hora” made by Qolamreza Saqarchian, “Night Shift” by Niki Karimi and “Tragedy” by Azita Mogoee were screened in this Indian Film Festival. All these films have been previously screened at numerous international film festivals. Kolhapur International Film festival was held on Dec.15-21. In another Indian Film Festival named “Sixteen Asian Third Eyes” started on December 21, four Iranian films named”Emkan Mina”, “ Cyanide”, “Soyouq(Cold)” and “Cinema Bench” are to be screened in this one week cultural event. Two other Iranian Films named “Stolen” made by Bizhan Mirbagheri and “Dream of Water” by Farhad Mehranfar are also be screened in this festival at specially arranged program.
