Adam Khanegie( Domesticated Man) won the top prize at Canterbury Animation Film Festival
Movie Adam Khanegie (Domesticated Man), directed by Ms. Marzieh Abrar Paydar and produced by Documentary and Experimental Cinema Promotion Center, won the best film award at Canterbury Film Festival.
According to Public Relations Depart of the Documentary and Experimental Cinema Promotion Center, at 10th International Canterbury Film Festival held on Sep.29-30the Iranian animation movie Adam Khanegie which was earlier selected as 15 top entries won the highest prize for personification. Domesticated Man is a short animated film which depicts a shop owner selling domesticated animals falls asleep in his shop and in a nightmare find himself entrapped in cage filled with various animals. He tries to escape but each time he faces new hurdles. This film has been previously screened at Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF) and later this month again will be screened at a short films festival in South Korea. Domesticated man is also to appear in an international film festival in Kuala Lumpur by last week of October.
