Movie Yeva, Jointly produced by Iran and Armenia to be screen at Armenian cinemas
According to Public Relations Department of Farabi Cinema Foundation, Yeva a joint venture by Iranian and Armenian film industries is due to be screened at Armenian cinemas from Sep.24.
Yeva has been directed by Anahid Abad and Produced by Taghi Aligholi, has been already screened at Fajr and Montreal international film festivals. Yeva will be screened at 3 cinemas in Armenian Capital Yerevan for Persian speaking audience with Persian subtitles. Yeva is a young woman, who escapes her influential in-laws with her daughter Nareh, after her husband’s tragic death and takes refuge in one of the villages of Karabakh, Armenia…Yeva is a complete stranger in this village and is obliged to live her daily life in disguise. The movie, which has been shot in Armenia, depicts the social issues of the contemporary man.
